How time consuming will a restaurant business be for an 18 year old?

Eric asked:

I’m leaving for New Haven to attend Yale this fall.

I’m very interested in establishing my own restaurant business around the area.If I could find someone, I’d prefer to have a partner since I reckon it would be a bit too time-consuming for a college freshman to handle.

Any ideas on how much time and effort I should look forward to give the business?

My personal credit history is one of the worst in america. How can i get approved for anything to start building credit for my business? Whats the cheapest way, and fastest? I tried years ago to apply for an office depot card with a previous business, but they declined me cause my business had no credit. If i cant get an offie depot card, then what can i do? This loan program is a “pilot” meaning that the number of loans that can be made are limited a percentage of the total SBA loans approved. My business assists small business owners and this is an excellent program to get credit to business owners but it doesn’t have a champion!

Mainly locally, A small computer repair business, with many other services, wireless installations, hardware repair, system repair, spyware/virus removal, and so on. I’m trying to boost up the business, and one recommendation was to make an ad and just start putting it in people mail box’s. or apartment buildings. the good thing about the business is that the services are very cheap, so its hard to pass it on! any recommendations on how to get more business?

My husband would like to start up his own tree stump grinding and tree trimming business, but all of the small business loans we have investigated require proof of one year profits. We would need a small business loan in order to purchase the equipment necessary to begin the business. Are there loans for this?

Alaskan M asked:

I have owned a small construction business for the past decade and now have decided to start an online merchandise business ( skateboards and accessories, snow boards and accessories, outdoor recreation merchandise and apparel ). How do I get in contact with the manufacturers of the products and get their products onto my website to sell to my customers ? I don’t want to store merchandise in a warehouse. I want to do my business ( taking orders, interacting with the manufacturers, shipping ect. ) over the internet. Anyone know how to do this ?

easeofdisease asked:

I have a sole-owned and operated LLC for stock trading. In normal jobs you can deduct traveling expenses (gas expenses etc.) for business purposes, but I would like to know this : Can I deduct going to the library and other educational facilities for business use and business education on my tax return if I go there often every week for the purpose? What kind of proof would I need to claim this? Just my own calculations? Thanks for your time!!!
