How does information from financial reports influence business decision making? Why is it important for business managers to understand the information found on financial reports?

For every major successful business out there, someone has to cry out “corporate greed” for some reason.

So is there a fine line between having a successful business and being “greedy?”

Can someone explain?

I am not talking about multi-national corporations, I’m talking about American owned business.
What have the top 2 candidates in each party proposed to get things back on track again for business?

Trying to decide which major I want, I think I want to go into finance, but I am not sure. I know I am going into business- at a business school.

Also, if there are any people who have careers in finance, what do you specifically and do you like your jobs? Because I have an internship in finance and accounting and it is pretty boring…but it is just because they don’t give me enough work to do so I don’t feel like I have had the true experience.

Why I ask this question…Well because I am planning a business in restaurant like sports bar and grill type. Well would it be better to franchise from another business that is simular or start your own from scratch. Also what about cost. Would the cost of starting your own be simular for a franchise.

I have gotten an opportunity to start a business, don’t matter the amount go BIG. There are a couple of options that I have though but would like more ideas or comments of the items I already have.

Hotel
Meat Distributor
Cheese Factory
Gas Station

I would like to know if this would work and also to receive new ideas. I need to have three options ready with proposals and everything to pick the best option.
