I just recently started my own small business after watching my boss make tons of money off of my idea. I’ve been trying to obtain business credit but I am having a problem, because I am a new business. I do not want to use myself as a personal guarantor due to some credit issues I have gained while in college, and co-signing for my ex. So if you have any tips please feel free to post them. I am interested in purchasing my friends resturant to help him get out of debt. He had it incorporated. So I will be owning my own corporation. How do banks and lenders view you as far as credit wise? Is it linked to my personal credit rating or do I get a separate rating for the business(corporation)? I have a poor credit score because for small debts I have accumulater over the years but I have eliminated the majority of them. I want to buy a business here in Illinois for $70k..I do have 10% down in cash but I can’t find financing. What can I do? The owner will be leaving town in 3 weeks and will probably list it….help!

I have a small business and I am ready to hire one or two employees. I want to know the best way to establish and manage payroll on a tight budget. I am kind of a do it yourselfer but I want to make sure it’s done right and with not a lot of hassel. Any advice?

Me and my partner want to open a business, we have half of the funds available but the rest we need a loan. The problem is this is a new business so it has no credit and both me and my partner have not so great credit. Are there any other alternatives than banks? or banks that give 2nd chance business loans?? Any ideas?

I just got my tax id number from the irs, and I also have a state sales tax number. Im trying to become a reseller of computer parts that i plan to purchase from a wholesale company. My personal credit history is one of the worst in america. How can i get approved for anything to start building credit for my business? Whats the cheapest way, and fastest? I tried years ago to apply for an office depot card with a previous business, but they declined me cause my business had no credit. If i cant get an offie depot card, then what can i do? By the way I have a sole proprietor business.
