Nickname Here asked:

I have a small business that was just deemed Nonprofit by the state. Prior to this, i had only been in business for about 1.5 years. In the past, i just filed regular business taxes. Now that i am nonprotif status, do i have to file my taxes differently?

Thanks!
No, i was told that i DONT have to file tax exempt, that part is optional based on circumstances

I want to start a sole proprietorship business not using my Social Security Number – What do I have to do? I want to do business using a w-9

Also – how do taxes work in this situation? Do I pay taxes strictly based on income? Is there a tax benefit to register a business under my social compared to a w-9, or vise versa? What if there is little to no income if working under a w-9, how do taxes work?

I remember reading in one of robert kiyosaki’s books that he made over a million dollars one year and payed 0 in taxes. How do they do this?
I understand that many personal things can be written off as a business expense, but you can only spend so much before not making a profit anymore…

Shay nay nay asked:

I have a small business set up as a general partnership and we have 2 employees. We are not using any kind of 3rd party administrator for payroll or tax reporting services. We are just keeping tight records of our income, business expenses and payroll. Can we file taxes for this busines at the end of the year along with our personal filings or should we be doing something different? Also, we have not been withholding any taxes from our employees payroll as we plan to issue them a 1099 at year end. Does this sound ok?

miked2023 asked:

I’m writing a movie and part of it is where a guy want to sell his business to a foreign party so he won’t have to pay taxes – so he can keep it all. is it possible to do this? it doesn’t have to be a foreign party – looking for a plausible loophole. thanks.
He basically wants to sell it to a buddy through a 3rd party loophole of some kind and pay no taxes (any other ideas?. it’s supposed to be illegal – but doable. that’s the point. get creative! thanks.
