What are the top business certifications to get after earning a bachelor’s degree?

I am going to be getting a bachelor’s degree in economics and want to continue my education after that, I am aware of the MBA degree as well as a CPA (which at least in California, where I live, it is possible to get without actually receiving a bachelor’s in accounting). I am wondering, other than an MBA what are the top certifications to get in the business world that lead to an overall better career, I haven’t decided yet exactly what type of career I want to go into so anything having to do with finance, accounting, management, marketing and so on would be interesting and I think this may be of use to others who are looking to continue their education after college.

    The best way to have a great career is to make straight A’s and join a snooty business fraternity. They get the best interviews with all the best companies. You have to start at the top to ever finish there. Good luck.

    I’m a CPA, and if I were 20 yrs old again, I would get the best experience I could, and save every dollar I could until I could start my own small business. You don’t get rich working for “the man”. DemocracyDog

    CPA is not a degree it’s a license.

    There is MBA and Masters of Arts in Business or Business Management. That’s generally all there is.

    I posted a link of other possible accreditations one can get in business. However, there is one that is not listed which is CFP or certified financial planner. The reason it’s not listed is that only about 50,000 people in the US have that accreditation. The reason is that it is one of the hardest exams, because of the amount of material covered. maxpowr90
