Most of them and the family owned ones, are way down, many in the red and many folded. What small businesses are still in the black. My background is engineering but I do NOT have a PE cert and don’t plan to.

If you know a business that is doing well, please list it. Thanks.

    My dear “K”…..

Well….let me say this much ….FOOD…will always be “in business”, because people always have a need for food….so …..I don’t know, if you’re familiar with the german “Bratwurst” ….which is a sausage you fry in oil…and you serve it on a bun” similar to your “Hot dogs”….furthermore, you can make a “Curry wurst” out of it…whereby you cut the (same sausage) in slices….add a sauce out of tomato paste & seasonings (similar to your “catsup”) with Curry powder on top…..THe Americans over here love that stuff “to death”…-smile-

Also….are you familiar with “Kebab” ? That’s a turkish dish in arabian bread with either lamb, turkey, beef meat-strip’s, lettuce, tomato, sour-cream-garlic-sauce on top….real delicious….Those type os small businesses are quite lucrative and worth checking in to honey !

Either way….FOOD items will always sell good no matter HOW “bad” the economy is baby ! So…I’d advise you to look into the matter ! I sure wish you GOOD Luck in your endeavor ! Greetings from Germany with all my love & care….Annette**** destiny
