There is a business in Texas, that charges sales tax on ebay. I have made several purchases on e-bay and as long as i was in a different state, i have never been charged sales tax. I can see charging the tax when its inside Texas.. So what gives?
i figured it out… i used to live in texas so my ebay id profile was linked to texas. so when i made the purchasse it wanted to charge me sales tax. i changed to my current state made purchase again and everything turned out alright,,
